A Level 3 inspection involves a thorough examination of the concealed sections of the chimney structure and flue, potentially necessitating the removal or destruction of permanently attached components of the chimney or building structure. A Level 2 inspection includes all aspects of a Level 1 inspection and additionally covers the accessible parts of the chimney’s exterior and interior, including spaces like attics, crawl spaces, and basements, while ensuring proper clearances from combustibles in accessible areas.
A Level 3 inspection encompasses all the assessments conducted in Level 1 and Level 2 inspections, along with the potential removal of specific building or chimney components when deemed necessary.
